Qualifications
A person who wants to become a firefighter must go through the following steps:
Finish high school with a diploma and meet physical, medical, and psychological requirements.
For those who want to work in the Inspectorates for Emergency Situations: take the entrance exam in military education, organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In some cases, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations may also organize recruitment through direct employment.
For those who want to work in a private emergency service: take part in professional training programs in centers approved by the General Inspectorate.
Complete formal training and start working in the position.
